Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said Wednesday during a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice and White House press secretary Jay Carney “gave demonstrably false statements” about what prompted the Benghazi attack.
